Capital Support

Major support is provided to cultural and educational institutions and hospitals to enable capital improvements, including new construction and renovations.

    Minimally Invasive Simulation and Skills Center:  A technical skills and simulation lab offering benchmark training and research to prepare the next generation of laproscopic surgeons.

    Admissions Building:  Construction of an expanded, state-of-the-art admissions center.

    Science Center:  Construction of a expanded Science Complex which would include innovative research, teaching-labs and classroom spaces.

  • Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston, MA)
    Cardiovascular Center:  A state-of-the-art building bringing 21st century technology to in-patient and out-patient cardiovascular care and clinical research that will open in Spring 2008.

    Surgical Center:  Renovation and expansion of the hospital surgical facilities including 8 new operating rooms, surgical support areas and patient family waiting rooms.

    KidStage:  Support toward the construction and programming of the Museum's kid-size professional theater for participatory productions and performances.

    Cancer Center: Support to substantially upgrade and expand its facilities for cancer care and patient services.

    Community Center on NewBridge Campus:  Support for the construction of a new residential community in Dedham, MA that will provide a continuum of housing and health care options for seniors of all ages and abilities.

    Interpretive Services:  Support toward providing interpretative services and programming for exhibitions, performances and tours for disabled patrons.

    Restoration of the Rotunda and Sargent murals:  Major support for renovation and repair of this Museum focal point.
